JULY LI Studio is a New York City based fashion and knitwear design studio founded by designer Zhexin (July) Li, specializing in innovative knitting manipulations, textile development, and quality craftsmanship. JULY LI has an incredible appreciation and understanding for knitwear, the medium providing endless possibilities with pattern and texture. She continues to push the limits through the exploration of new techniques, collating and studying the fluidity and interaction of fabric on the human body.

July Li
Graduated from Zhejiang University, California College of the Arts, July majored in industrial design, and MBA in design strategy. July first came to New York in 2019 to study in Parsons, where she discovered her love for textile and the endless possibilities and innovation that knitwear could bring. July dropped from Parsons during the COVID-19 pandemic to create her own line. She takes inspiration from the nature, transfers the daily mundanes and emotions into her work.

Our pieces are handmade in-house by our team in New York.
The garments are carefully knitted with love. Please be kind to the pieces and note that due to the nature of our handmade process, slight irregularities are characteristics of the production.
